TeamStrange is proud to present the 2008 Minnesota 1000.  This is our 14th consecutive year!

Rallymaster Bart Bakker is once again at the helm, for the 3rd year in a row.  He would like to assure all that he has arranged for the usual fun and challenging bonus locations, and weather conditions will be "as good as ever".

Also for the 3rd year in a row, Leo's South will be our gracious host.  Friday evening's Liar's Banquet, the Saturday AM start, and the Sunday AM finish will all be at Leo's.

Leo's South is located at 16375 Kenrick Ave in Lakeville, MN.  You can find Leo's on Google Maps, or with Garmin MapSource (.gdb file), or with Microsoft Streets & Trips (.est file).

So you've entered in past years?  We're sure we overheard you saying "I could have placed higher if only I had  ________."  We'll be watching to see if you prove it this year.

Or maybe you've never entered the Minnesota 1000 before.  Each year somewhere between 10 and 30 percent of the riders are new to the MN1K, and every year the rookies wow us.

General schedule:

bulletFriday night's "Liar's Banquet" will start at 6PM.  Barbeque meal served from 6:30PM to 7:30PM.  Special guest appearance by the "Puker from Paducker", Bubba Kolb. bulletRiders' meeting follows the meal, starting shortly after 7:30PM.  Riders, do NOT miss this. bulletRider check-in on Saturday from 6AM to 7AM. bulletFinal riders' meeting at 7AM Saturday. bulletThe rally runs from 8AM Saturday to 8AM Sunday. bulletBreakfast served on Sunday from 9AM to 10AM.

Rally info:

bulletSome bonuses will require a photo to be submitted.  We don't care what those guys down the hall are doing, digital photos will not be accepted in the 2008 Minnesota 1000.  Polaroid instant photos are the only type allowed.  You will need 1 or 2 10-packs of film. bulletConcerned about crossing international borders?  No worries, there will be no bonuses in Canada this year. bulletAs always, you are responsible for being aware of, and abiding by, the TeamStrange Uniform Rules.  We hope to make printed copies available, but we strongly recommend getting familiar with them before the event.

The 2008 Minnesota 1000 has ended, but you can see the results here.
