Snowriver Mountain Resort

Come join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of riding in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan and surrounding area. Once again, this year's Dog Daze Rally will be a 10-hour event that will start and end at the Snowriver Mountain Resort (formerly Big Snow Resort) in Wakefield, MI. Rally riders will leave at 8:00 a.m. and return by 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19. Plan on staying Friday and Saturday night for the rally and add additional nights if you'd like to more fully explore the beautiful roads this area has to offer.

Start and End

Plan to arrive on Friday afternoon. Rally staff will be there by 3:00 p.m. at Jack's Bar & Grille (formerly the Sky Bar) in the Jackson Creek Summit chalet for checking in and any last minute registrations. At check-in, you'll sign a waiver and receive your rally swag. Jack's Bar & Grille will be open for food and there is an outdoor deck, large indoor space and a big parking lot for kicking tires and story-telling. A mandatory rider's meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m., at which time rally packets will be handed out. You will have all evening to plan your route and rally staff will be available for questions.

Rally time! Jack's Bar & Grille will be open at 6:00 a.m. for continental breakfast and rally staff will be available to answer last-minute questions. Another mandatory rider's meeting will be at 7:00 a.m., at which time any last-minute details will be discussed. You will be free to launch at 8:00 a.m. Return to rally headquarters before 6:00 p.m. Don't be late! Anyone returning after 6:00 p.m. will be considered a DNF, but welcome to join in on the post-rally dinner and festivities. After returning, you will be scored and we will be serving a "cook-out" dinner. The awards ceremony will start at about 8:00 p.m. with trophies awarded to the top 5 riders. Plan to stick around and tell tall tales afterward.

Sunday is for whatever you want to do. Bask in the memories of a fun rally and have a leisurely breakfast at Jack's Bar & Grille or take off on a non-rally-mode ride in this picturesque part of Michigan.

Entry Fee

The entry fee for the 2023 Dog Daze Rally is $75 for solo riders and $135 for two-ups. Your entry fee will include a light breakfast on Saturday morning, snacks for the road, dinner Saturday night, an awesome t-shirt and extra (surprise) rally swag. Dinner Friday night or a heartier breakfast Saturday morning will be available at your expense.

NOTE: Due to new tax laws, we are unable to accept registration payments via PayPal. Please send a personal check or money order as directed in the payment details of your Ride Master registration. Reach out to your Rallymasters if you have questions.

A well-equipped rally rider will need maps of MN, WI and MI, a couple of pens, maybe a highlighter or two, a camera (there will be photo bonuses) and a working odometer. A GPS will be helpful, but is not necessary to have fun on this rally.
